Adaptable Typing Redefined With Wooting Alternative

Until now, mechanical keyboards have been pretty boring. Sure, some enthusiasts would get excited about the slight differences in switch feel or sounds, but for most people, there hasn’t been much about them that could make a big difference in their gaming experience. That changed when wooting alternative entered the scene.

The Wooting 60 HE is a keyboard unlike any other, powered by a proprietary switch that uses magnets instead of the standard movable metal leaves. This change allows the switches to be configured in a way that makes them better for gaming. The result is a great typing experience and a deep, pleasing sound when you press a key.

But that’s not all the Wooting 60 HE has going for it. The switches are configured by a powerful companion app that gives you an absurd number of ways to customize the way your keys work. This includes setting the actuation point of each key in 0.1mm increments, allowing you to set the keys to actuate at the very top for fast-paced games or all the way down for typing to prevent typos. It also allows you to engage ‘tachyon mode’, which prioritizes keystroke scanning over the usual cost-saving matrix scanning of traditional keyboards to cut input lag by a huge margin.

All of this is possible because the Wooting alternative which is Lekker switches have a special feature called Rapid trigger, which allows for a dynamic reset point. This mitigates return travel and allows the switches to be reset in a fraction of the distance required by other mechanical switches. This is a big deal because it eliminates the most common source of slowdown in input speed, especially in gaming.

While the Wooting two HE doesn’t have Rapid Trigger yet, it does have similar technology in the form of the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog. This premium wired-only keyboard lets you adjust the pre-travel distance of each key and features an analog mode that turns your keys into joystick controls.
